The two sponsors are seeking generative AI solutions for digital marketing to boost customer experience and engagement, and artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for beauty and personal care supply chain management. The finalists will have the prestigious opportunity to pitch their solutions and gain access to the exclusive E-luxury summit in Lausanne, Switzerland, networking with 400+ professionals.
The Beauty Innovation Award 2024 aims to reward the most innovative digital solutions to enhance the beauty and cosmetics industry, focusing on scale-ups and well-structured solutions ready for implementation. This year’s spotlight is on generative AI solutions to boost customer engagement and artificial intelligence and machine learning applications to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the supply chain. The initiative aims to foster collaboration and an open innovation approach among the involved partners and explore new synergies among scale-ups, brands, investors, academia, and research centers.
A carefully selected jury, composed of industry experts from key innovative players in the beauty industry, like Acqua di Parma, Alpeor, Angelini Beauty, Bayer, Bulgari, Davines, Galderma, Hub & Logistics SA, Intercos Group, La Prairie, Mavex, Miamo, Nashi Argan, Valmont and VerdiLab, will oversee the selection process. The call for submissions remains open until 13 August at the following link: https://awards.loomish.ch/?page_id=6986
“In recent years, consumers have become increasingly aware of their purchasing choices, especially when it comes to products with a high perceived value, such as cosmetics. It is therefore crucial to develop safe products and to transmit this safety to the end consumer,” notes Gianfranco Landolfi, General Manager Life Science & Cosmetics at Antares Vision Group. “The spectrum of our solutions is broad and includes technologies that, on the one hand, ensure product quality control and, on the other, enable product monitoring throughout the supply chain, with the aim of reducing “gray markets” and counterfeiting risks. This is thanks to the creation of a unique digital identity for each saleable product unit, which ensures transparency of the quality of the production process, documenting its efficiency and sustainability. Traceability and digital identity thus provide a direct communication channel between producers and consumers and meet producers’ own demands for transparency, ethics and sustainability.”
Davide Guzzetti, Managing Director Hyphen-Digital SA, says “We are thrilled to join this project, not only for the contribution we can offer through our experience in luxury and lifestyle content production and distribution but also for the invaluable insights and learnings we will gain by both listening to the needs of beauty sector leaders and exploring innovative solutions and perspectives”.
The finalists will be invited to participate in person at the Pitch Day on November 21st, 2024, in Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland, where they will present their ideas to the prestigious jury. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to attend the exclusive E-luxury summit on November 26th in Lausanne, Canton Vaud, Switzerland, connecting with over 400 industry professionals.
