Loomish launches LuxForward Award 2021: luxury brands looking for innovative solutions to enforce sustainability through technology<\/b><\/h2>
\u00a0<\/b><\/div>

Lugano, July 27<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Loomish, the Swiss-based investment management firm, collaborated with high-ranking leaders from the luxury industry launching the LuxForward Award 2021. This call aims to find mature B2B and B2B2C start-ups and scale-ups that can support luxury brands and strengthen sustainability.<\/p>

All applications<\/b> will be assessed by a prestigious jury represented by the most important individuals leading the Luxury Industry today. Among the most relevant names, start-ups could have the chance to pitch in front of C-level and director-level executives from Bally, Breitling, Cucinelli, Design Holding, Dufry, Hugo Boss, MSC Cruises, Richemont, The How Consulting, Timex, Tod\u2019s, Valentino, Versace, Zegna, among others.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

During the month of September, the jury will select and announce the finalists for the\u00a0two categories<\/b>\u00a0of the\u00a0LuxForward Award 2021<\/b>:\u00a0<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

  1. Circular Design:<\/b>\u00a0B2B and B2B2C solutions that help brands design apparel and accessories in a way to last, to be reused, recycled, upcycled (e.g., 3D enablers, smart tracking systems, upcycling\/recycling solutions, blockchain use)<\/li>
  2. New Ownership Models:<\/b>\u00a0B2B and B2B2C solutions that help increase the number of times a garment or product is used (e.g., secondhand, subscription models, virtual fashion, rental, repair solutions)<\/li><\/ol>

    The call closes on September 9. The finalists will be announced on September 21, and they will be invited to pitch in front of the jury personally \/ remotely during a \u201cphygital\u201d event organized in Milan on October, 7 2021.<\/p>

    There is no fee to participate in the event;<\/strong>\u00a0this award is opening doors for international solutions to be part of the growing innovation landscape in Switzerland.\u00a0<\/p>
